Pilot Terms & Privacy
Effective September 12, 2026 · version pilot-2026-09-12
Regroupd is a film-review tool for Call of Duty teams, run by John Paul Krez. It is currently in a small, free pilot. These terms explain what you are agreeing to, what happens to your footage, and what we collect. They are short on purpose. If anything is unclear, ask: jpkrez26@gmail.com.
1. This is a free pilot
Regroupd is provided free of charge, as-is, while it is being tested. Features may change, break, or be removed, and there may be downtime. We do not guarantee that the service will be available, that analysis will be accurate, or that it will be offered permanently.
2. Your footage stays yours
You keep ownership of everything you upload or link. By adding it, you give Regroupd permission to store it, process it (including automatically detecting maps, rounds, scores and player positions), and display it to the members of your team — only as needed to provide the service to you.
We do not sell your footage, use it for advertising, or show it to anyone outside your team.
3. Only add footage you have the right to use
When you add a VOD you confirm that you have the right to use that footage for your team’s review — for example, your own team’s scrims or matches. Do not upload footage you do not have permission to use, such as recordings of someone else’s private stream. You are responsible for the footage you add.
4. Keep your original files
Regroupd is not a backup service. Keep your own copy of anything you upload. We work to protect your data, but during a pilot we cannot promise it will never be lost.
5. What we collect
Your account: your email address, password (stored securely by our authentication provider, never visible to us), display name, and an optional avatar.
What you add: footage you upload or link, and the annotations, notes, clips and playbook entries you and your team create.
What is detected in footage: processing reads information shown on screen, including player names and in-game statistics. That can include players on other teams who appear in your footage.
How the product is used: which parts of Regroupd you open, and when. This is used only to understand whether the pilot is useful, and it does not record what you type or watch, your IP address, or your device. (Like any website, our hosting providers keep standard technical logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.)
Cookies: one cookie to keep you signed in, and two display preferences saved in your browser. No advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Who else handles your data
A small number of services are needed to run Regroupd. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Supabase — database and sign-in
- Cloudflare — storage for uploaded video
- Vercel — hosting for the website
- YouTube — only when you add a YouTube link
- Discord — only if your team connects a Discord webhook
Footage is downloaded to, and analyzed on, a computer operated by Regroupd.
7. Deleting your data
You can delete any VOD from inside Regroupd at any time, which removes the stored video file along with it.
To delete your account and everything associated with it, email jpkrez26@gmail.com. It will be completed within 30 days.
8. Age
You must be at least 13 years old to use Regroupd. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use Regroupd to store illegal content, to attack or overload the service, to access another team’s data, or to upload footage you do not have the right to use. We may remove content or suspend access that breaks these rules.
10. Limits of responsibility
Because the pilot is free and experimental, to the fullest extent the law allows Regroupd is not liable for lost data, lost footage, inaccurate analysis, or any indirect loss arising from using it.
11. Ending the pilot, and changes
You can stop using Regroupd whenever you like. If the pilot ends, you will be given reasonable notice first. If these terms change in a way that matters, you will be told, and the version number above will change.
